What to do

The Cities of Newcastle and Edinburgh are of course a must see when visiting England.

Here we will add links and places of things to do in the north of England.

-Newcastle-

To eat, we recommend Scream for Pizzas, Meatstack, Arlos, the former observatory that has become the Wylam Brewery Distillery.

Visit Quayside and the famous bridges of Newcastle, not far from there is the Castle, the Castle of "New"Castle. Breathtaking views of the city await you from the roof of the Baltic Museum.

- Edinburgh -

The Scottish capital is without doubt one of our favorite cities.

The Victorian architecture, the general atmosphere, you will love getting lost in the maze of narrow streets full of history!

To eat:

A single address and not the least! Dishoom! Indian restaurant that has become almost a religion for us!

-Berwick Upon Tweed-

The small town located by the sea is full of History! Close to Hadrian's Wall, it has kept its military past with its 19th century prison and walls.

We highly recommend the coffee

North Edge located in an old shed.

Holy Island, also known as Lindisfarne, and Bamburgh castle are close historical landmarks worth a visit.

- Alnwick -

Situated between Newcastle and Berwick, Alnwick has become famous for its castle which was featured in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey.

The Alnwick Gardens are famous for having the largest collection of dangerous plants in their Poison Garden.

Barter Books is a must! It's a second hand bookshop located in a Victorian railway station.
